Chaffey College Dance Concert - Opening Night
Due to the closing of the Chaffey College Rancho Cucamonga campus, tonight’s opening performance of Intersection: Chaffey Dance Concert 2014 is being postponed to tomorrow night, Friday, May 2nd, pending the reopening of the campus. If you have already purchased a ticket for tonight’s Thursday, May 1st performance, please bring your ticket to the Theatre Box Office to exchange it for another performance date. The Box Office will be open 1 hour before each performance.
We will keep you updated of any further changes. We hope everyone, their families, and homes are safe from the fires. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support of the visual and performing arts at Chaffey College.

Student Invitational 2014
Opening today! Chaffey College and the Wignall Museum of Contemporary Art proudly present Student Invitational 2014, the 37th annual juried exhibition featuring Chaffey College student artists. In this rigorous program, the selected artists work closely with faculty, the museum curators, and other art professionals to create a new body of work, culminating in a professional quality group exhibition at the Wignall Museum of Contemporary Art.
Student Invitational 2014 will feature the work of Billy Barron, Linda Cota, Sara Crapes, Rob DeMeritt, Jason Hunter-Harris, Krista Mathews, Erasmo Tapia, Eric Tenorio, Onyx Rodriguez.
This exhibition, reception, and discussion are free and open to the public.

LACMA Bus Trip
The Associated Students of Chaffey College (ASCC) is sponsoring a bus trip to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on Saturday, April 5, 2014. The bus trip is free to students who have paid the college service fee. Admission to the museum will be only four dollars, that’s half the regular student ticket price. Reserve your seat now at the Student Activities office. Bring your tuition payment printout, ID, and four dollars when you sign up for the trip. Seating is limited so don't delay.

Quartet lead by Vijay Gupta, LA Phil First Violins, and the founder and Artistic Director of Street Symphony, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing free, live music to people experiencing homelessness and incarceration.
General Admission tickets are $25, available online at www.chaffey.edu/theatre_tickets
Limited number of discounted tickets for current Chaffey College students are available at the college bookstore for $10. Student ID must be presented at time of purchase. One ticket per Student ID. (UPDATE 2/3/14: Student Discount Tickets Sold Out, General Admission Still Available)

This Tony Award-winning modern musical focuses on a group of unique 20-somethings making their way in the big city, seeking their purpose in life. A hilarious show full of heart and hummable tunes, AVENUE Q tells the story of Princeton, a bright-eyed college grad who moves to NYC with big dreams and a tiny bank account. AVENUE Q features a cast of people and puppets who tell the story in an entertaining and risqué way. The New York Times hailed AVENUE Q as "a breakthrough musical of a very different stripe. Savvy, sassy and delicious!" and Entertainment Weekly claimed it was "one of the funniest shows you're ever likely to see!" Most theatre goers describe it as “Sesame Street meets South Park.”
